After removing the warranty-void label, you will find one screw a bit bulkier than the other three. Remember to place this back in its correct position. All screws can be removed with the same Philips screwdriver.

Slide out the hard drive in a smooth forward motion, lifting it up gently to avoid scratching the LED board on the front. I noticed the LED-cable in my LaCie drive was stuck and mildly compressed.
