Hello,

I got hung up on Step 2. I used a Philips #00 screwdriver, but I was unable to turn the screw. It seemed as though the screwdriver was not fitting into the screw because the head wasn't able to be solidly into the screw indentations.

Is there some sort of Phillips #00 screwdriver that has some sort of different head? Might it be possible that not every Surface Headphone (first edition) uses the type of screw that needs a Philips #00 screwdriver?

I bought these headphones refurbished. So I'm not sure if something somehow is different from that, or if there is nothing different with the screws, but something is wrong with my Phillips #00 screwdriver, or if there is some other kind of head that measures as #00, but is somehow different (are there more than one type of Phillips #00 screwdriver?).

Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.

Im in the process of trying to repair my headphones as well. Looking at the screws they're definitely not Phillips, they're some type of torx screw. I don't have my torx set with me at the moment but when get it I'll let you know which size driver worked

Hello, hoping you can give an answer on this. I’m usually pretty good at finding anything. But I can’t seem to find a replacement battery. I have the surface headphones 2. Can you gone me some insight as to what direction I should go to find one. I’ve tried Microsoft themselves. I got nowhere. I found the battery for the 1 series. I can’t find the battery nowhere.

Thank you for the presentation. It helped me in the disassemble process.
