Locate the handle of the brush roll cover situated at the top of the clear plastic piece.

Firmly pull up on the handle until the cover pops off.
The cover will rotate slightly around the bottom of the plastic, but will not stop the piece from being removed.

Pull up on the white tab on the left side of the roller to remove the brush roll.
