How do I go about fixing replacing the screen
I have the new screen but there is no competent guides on replacing the screen for this laptop nor did I see one on I fix it I might just be dumb though any help appreciated

One thing you have to give HP credit for is that they make their Service and Maintenance manuals available to the general public. Here's the page linking to that manual from the HP support site.
