The Ford Explorer and the Mercury Mountaineer were both updated for the 2006 model year on a new frame, produced by Magna International rather than Tower Automotive.
@terrybritt you can't unless you know what tripped the limp mode. What have you checked? What have you tried? What exact year, model, engine size and transmission (AT/MT) is this? Did you scan the OBDII yet? Any codes displayed?
