Hello, Everyone. I have an Xbox One S that, when powered on, plays the startup chime, the light shines white, and then plays the shut-down chime and turns back off a few seconds later. The console's fan does not spin during this. I have attempted a PSU replacement, but with no results. I took the board out and discovered some corrosion in a corner of the board, but I cleaned it off with some 91% Isopropyl Alcohol. All help would be appreciated.

Hi!
Unfortunately this issue is common. The issue is on the motherboard somewhere. Did you checked the capacitors? Do they look fine? If yes, it still could be a capacitor or the MOSFET which is failing. This requires soldering and soldering skills.
Check for a short on the 12V rail and the power MOSFETs to be sure.

Sure then, ill have to go and purchase a multimeter and check that.

Update: I have just replaced the fan which didn’t make any difference. There is still no fan spin and the console still turns off with a chime about 10 seconds after being turned on.

Which corner of the board had the corrosion?

@flannelist It was on the corner closest to the CPU.
