Free Flow spa cuts off when motor kicks on
Free Flow spa about 10yr old. Everytime the motor kicks on it hums and shuts off. Also noticed a wire on the board that appears to have gotten hot

What is the model number of the spa and also the make and model number of the pump motor?
Check if there's a capacitor connected to the motor.
It sounds as though the motor is trying to start but can't.
If there is a capacitor then it may be faulty. This is used to help the motor to overcome the initial inertia when in the idle position allowing it to start rotating
