Is it possible to fix directional keys?

My Apple TV remote is working mostly, but the directional keys for down and left are not working anymore. Trackpad still works, as do the other directions.

I’ve already been able to open it up, cleaned with alcohol, but that doesn’t seem to do anything.

Does anyone have tips for other things I could try to get these buttons to work again?
