Ouch! Without opening to inspect things it’s hard to say. Then there is the costs, getting a new one will likely end up being the cheaper and more dependable direction. If you had data on the iPad you are trying to recover, that maybe possible but you will need a replacement iPad and a tech who can Hobble your old iPad into a useful state to offload your stuff.
