The cold water does not shut off when the machine fills
When I start the washer, any cycle, the cold water does not shut off. The tub continues to fill and overflows onto the floor. It does this any time the cold water is running. I have to sit there and turn off the water at the wall to stop it
This may be a faulty water level switch. You'll need washer information and online parts diagrams to determine part number and if you can make diy repairs. However, members here with access to information need year, make, model, serial number to determine what failed and suggest part(s) to replace.
