Laptop keeps freezing or shutting off
When booting the laptop normally it boots then gets stuck if it boots till lock screen if we move the cursor. In automatic repair if we move the cursor its freezes and also freezes while boot it doesn't freeze in bios but sometimes does even when we connect the charger it freezes. Im thinks its a bad video card but let me know.
Hi @amnzvt
What OS is installed?
Have you tried starting in safe mode and checked what happened?
Is this the same laptop as your other question on ifixit?

@jayeff it has windows 10 installed on it. The laptop works properly in safe mode but im not able to do most tasks as it is safe mode
This issue started after a poor job by a technician

@jayeff this issue started after a upgrade on the storage to an ssd and from 4gb ram to 6gb
I had informed the guy that i want windows 10 with the ssd and after the ram upgrade he informed me that the laptop keeps getting stuck while trying to download window so he installed win 8 on the ssd after getting it back the laptop has the same issue mentioned here so what i did was i put back the old hhd and the issue persists

@jayeff ill wait for ur earliest response and thanks for taking my issue in mind
Also note that( the laptop had hhd of windows 10 and 4gb ram) and was working perfectly fine
I dont know what the technician did but i want to see if this is an easy fix or ill have to go to an expensive place to get it fixed

@amnzvt
First to utilize 6GB of ram a 64-bit version of Windows needs to be installed. 32-bit only use a max of 4GB even if 6GB is installed.
If it works OK in safe mode then usually it is a driver problem as only generic Windows drivers are loaded in safe mode and not drivers that are specific to the hardware in the laptop.
Check if the ram modules have the same characteristics. Look at the make and model info on each and then search online for information about each of the models.
Be sure to remove the battery from the laptop, before removing/replacing ram
I know that one is 2GB and the other is 4GB but if their other characteristics are different you may run into problems e.g. frequency (I think that yours should be 667MHz) and the CL number (CAS latency factor) Don't know what latency factor number it is but they should both be the same.
