Why is my Camera not connecting?

My Camera is not connecting at all. If i try to take a picture on Snapchat it will immedietly kick me out of the App and send a type of Message. Same goes for the actual Camera app and THE camera along with trying to take photos on apps etc. Someone said maybe the ribbon cable came out and told me to go check out a tutorial here on this site. So im hoping you guys could help me with this problem?
