How to connect the LCD cable correctly after opening the iPod

PLEASE HELP ANYBODY !!!!i opened my iPod touch 4g to fix my home button then connected the LCD cable and when i closed it the screen turned white and i cant fix it please her but my home button does not work at ALL so i cant reset it !!
