Bought a replacement battery, and it’s not staying connected

I just replaced my old DSi XL’s touchscreen, so I bought a new battery from this site to go with it, since I figured the old one is probably worn out. Now that it’s installed, it won’t say connected properly, and I’ve noticed it’s a slight bit bigger than the old, OEM battery. Upon reinstalling the old battery, it fits just fine and stays connected.

Just wondering if I’ve possibly done something wrong when installing the new battery? Not sure.

Where did you bought the replacement battery? I know that there are some bad copy's out there.

When your original battery fits OK and stays connected, it must be a bad replacement battery.

Return the old battery and get yourself a refund. Then buy a new one elsewhere. Amazon is most of the time OK.

I bought it from iFixIt, which is disappointing because their product seemed very legitimate. I was attempting to leave this review on my order, so I assumed my post would specify that this was about an iFixIt product. My apologies. I didn’t realize this wasn’t still an iFixIt page.

Alright, then probably it's a bad battery :(. I would ask for a refund to get another one!
