Appleの第7世代iPadの修理と分解ガイド情報です。

iPad 7 only pulling 0.48 AMPS after a lot of repairs

So the iPad came in a while ago only pulling 0.48amps.

The charging port and Power IC were changed, and the iPad was working perfectly too, pulling 1.5 amps - 2amps. Then 3 days after the customer picked it up it was back at 0.48amps.

Weird .... Anyway a new battery this time fixed it. Pulling amazing amps and everything. The customer picks it up but comes back 2 days later, and the same thing happens, back to 0.48 amps.

Is it just me or is the customer killing this iPad?

Or am I missing something completely?

Hi,

iPad 7's are known to have CPU problems. This is a manufacturing defect in which the solder balls of the CPU dry out, resulting in dead iPads. Most likely, it started working after heat was applied when PMIC was replaced. Try heating the CPU at 180°c for 1 minute and test it out.

The only solution is to recall the CPU, which is a highly technical and time-consuming job.
