Does anyone repair the wiring in the base of these older pots?

@barbaramellema iFixit does not do repairs. You can get all kinds of other help on here, like guides and advise :-) Usually we do not give any recommendation as to where to send devices too for repair, unless the repairer is know to the iFixit community. This is based on the experience that recommendations are never objective but subjective. Everybody will have different experiences with repair shops. Why not consider repairing it yourself. We can most certainly try to help you with that. If you are absolutely opposed to that, I would ask friends, neighbors or even local supply places and see if there is somebody that can help you locally. It all depends on where you are and what your resources are. If you are lucky enough to be in an area where they do have repair cafe's , make use of those. You will find an awesome array of helpful people.
