Difficult to turn on
A neighbor has a 42 inch Toshiba Fire television, brand new. During the day her universal remote operates the television perfectly, but if it sits off overnight the only way to turn it on is with the original remote. Is there a sleep or standby mode that might cause this and if so can it be disabled?

@davidmcloughlin since it is brand new, there should be no reason to use a universal remote. Especially Toshiba TV's love their original remotes to function properly.
