What thickness thermal pads do I need to prepare with before taking apart my Playstation 3 model CECH-2504B?
I'vee seen several sources saying that there could be more than one thickness thermal pads used within a system so that's why I am asking about this.

I found this:
2.0mm thick soft 6W/mK thermal pads are sufficient for PS3 Slim models. There are only 2 small pieces of them to apply and 2.0mm pads get noticeably compressed.
2.0mm thickness are the ones to use! 2mm is required for the PS3 Slim.

You have given me two numbers, which I have also gathered from other sources online. Inches surely is a mistake on your part, so I take it you mean millimeter.
Isn't 1,5mm and 2mm a big difference when it comes to this sort of thing? I don't want to cause unnecessary pressure on such sensitive electronics.
Hi! Sorry I meant millimeters! Yes. You need the 2mm ones. The PS3 Phat are using different ones. So far I know you only need the 2mm for the PS3 Slim.
Then I will use 2mm thermal pads. Thank you for the help!
