when ever i put on a game my desktop turns of and i have to reboot it all the way

Most likely because the game overloads the CPU or the GPU (or both) and as a protective measure from overheating the desktop shuts down.

@jordanfixe41169 Have you checked to make sure that the power supply isn't shutting down? I would also check the CPU and GPU temperatures.
