My iPhone 14 Is restarting every 3 minutes After It fell in water

PLEASE HELP ME!

Restarting every 3 minutes, i checked the panic log and found "sensor array 0-4 is 0x0, 0x400000, 0x0, 0x0, 0x0". So i replaced the wireless charging Flex with a new one but nothing changed. What am I supposed to do now?

EDIT: I took my phone to a repairing shop and they told me they fixed my motherboard (completely losting my data) for 230€… unfortunately that was my only option to have my phone back to life🥲

Sadly in terms of water damage there is not much you can do besides just buying a new phone

The only thing I can really make out from this is that your wireless charger is shot

If anyone knows what sensor 0-4 is or what error 0x0 is then we might have the ability to fix it

I alredy replaced the wireless charging flex and tried the torch (which is connected to that flex cable) and it works, so i think that's not the problem...

@peppemariani again that error message is huge and I'm no expert in it so it could be fixable but with water damage that causes a shutdown it PROBABLY won't be fixable

さんによる

Also it lookes like the SIM card reader is cooked

さんによる

@hampter no that was out of the case ahaha

さんによる

ah that would explain it

Actually, it might have been defective press connectors that connect the various components to the motherboard, rather than the motherboard itself. The iPhone 14 would shut down every three minutes if something's not connected, so the problem might be corroded press connectors on the motherboard. I once thought my 14 had a motherboard issue when I was replacing a shattered rear glass panel(it also kept restarting when I didn't connect a rear glass panel), but later when the replacement was installed, it stayed on without shutting down randomly.

Also, you mentioned that your SIM card reader was 'outside the case', so that might have been the problem.

So the repair shop charged me 230€ (saying that it was for the motherboard replacemente) for some flex disconnected or corroded?

さんによる

I don't think the repair shop would do that, since there's no way your motherboard could be reused again with your Apple ID on it. Maybe the motherboard itself was corroded, since it had two layers and water might have messed up the contacts between the two layers. In that case only very complex microsoldering can save it, and not every repair shop can offer that.

The repair shop must have its reason for a motherboard replacement though. They could have separated the two layers and decided that it can't be fixed)
