There is no sound from my I pod mini , confirmed as not the headphones and the headphone Jack has been replaced, is this a fixable problem kind regards David

@davidknowl74778 could be an issue with the PortalPlayer's PP5020 (or 5022 if it is a 2nd gen) IC or Wolfson's WM8721 audio codec. It may require a reflow or a new one. We would need to see your board (both sides, well focused image since we'll have to try and read the IC numbers etc.) to see its condition and location. Of course, this assumes that your audio jack, flex and software are all working properly.
