Panasonic front loader door not locking
I have a Panasonic NA-140V54 front loading washing machine
Problem is that the door is not locking anymore, so it can not run the cycle.
Is there a problem with the locking mechanism? or is the sensor broken?

Did you mean a Panasonic Panasonic NA-140VS4?
If so here's the service manual for the washer that will help.
Unfortunately the wiring diagram on p.10 isn't detailed enough as to what wires are used to operate the lock and what wires are used for the lock switch.
Go to p.12 and perform Operating test 2C to check if you can hear whether the lid lock operates or not.
If the lock is faulty and needs to be replaced, the part number is on p.21 Item #A26 i.e. AXW1619-2206. Search online for the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best.

Lid lock seems to operate, after examination I believe the problem is with the hook on the lid.
