Why it just say checking storage status
Ps4 ultra slim starts then says checking systems storage status. Will restart when done. It shuts off then blue light comes on, with 2 beeps then doesn't restart.

Sounds like your hdd is possibly corrupted or dead/dying. Try booting into safe mode and see what happens. With the console off press and hold the power button, continue to hold the power button until you hear it do a double beep then let go.
If it boots into safe mode just fine you could try doing an offline system update via usb. If it's an hdd corruption the offline update might correct it. If it doesn't correct it, time for a new drive in which case I recommend upgrading to an ssd.
If it won't even boot into safe mode....repair shop time.
