Samsung A53 randomly turns off (fall damage, replaced display with OE)

Hi everyone,

We all know that the A series Samsung are prone to failing after a fall, especialy the large 40 pin connector that breaks down due to poor materials and/or looses ground connection.

However this is not the case on a customers A53 which had its display replaced with a genuine one, but the phone randomly turns off and boots up again. As mentioned above, the 40 pin connector looks ok under the microscope, but didnt check connections with my multimeter yet.

What we tried so far:

• All components are tested fine with another A53 phone.
• Factory reset didnt do anything.
• There is no paramater which would cause the phone to shut off; WiFi connection, playing media, charging, low battery, nothing...

Asking for tips where to look for faults, which component could cause such an issue. Where to search for diagrams/schematics or where to start looking for shorts to ground.
