I have a late 2014 Mac mini and it's plugged in to the monitor and to power but when I turn it on I get nothing. Not even a light or spinning from the fan.
If you aren't getting a sleep/wake light at all, then it sounds like the issue is likely with the power cable or the power supply. You can see how to replace the power supply here. Good luck!
