10 Is it possible to power on the phone without the battery?
A Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has a swollen battery, and the battery is also probably dead as it was never used for more than a year. Connecting the phone to a USB power meter shows that the phone charges/uses 5.21V/0.26A. I only need to retrieve the photos from the phone.

if you take out the battery and put the phone on charge, it just boots to s7 edge logo and powers back off(tested this 5 mins ago)
