problem with my screen replacement part s22 ultra

I have the us version of s22 ultra and I broke my screen..the problem is I live in the middle East and the only available replacement parts are for the international version and there is a difference in the cabling to the 5g antenna between both versions..my question is...is it possible to connect the old cable of the us versions screen to the new replacement international version? and if not..and I choose to replace the screen anyways would it affect my signal quality other than losing 5g signal (which I dont care about that much)

Hi @kareemgohar,

What is the model number of your phone i.e SM-S908B, SM-S908B/DS, SM-S908U, SM-S908U1, SM-S908W, SM-S908N, SM-S9080, SM-S908E or SM-S908E/DS?

@kareemgohar

The best that I can find out is that the sm-s908B and sm-s908E screens are interchangeable but I can't find out about the sm-s908U models compatibility.

I thought the problem between the models was more of a systemboard compatibility problem with the area that they're working in due to the different phone frequencies used in different countries i.e. model specific to the area or region but maybe there's more to it than that

As a suggestion only, is it worthwhile for you to buy a screen from the USA see shipping rates (supplier example only) and replace it that way so as to avoid any problems or perhaps doing it this way may be too expensive an option. Just a thought.

Here's the ifixit Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Screen and Battery Assembly Replacement guide that may help.
