Hello, I’ve been searching for a replacement board for this laptop and can’t seem to find it anywhere. I do see the 15m model but this is a different board. Does anyone have any insight as to why or able to help find a replacement? Thank you!

There are two motherboards available for your model.
HP part #941884-001 (Description - MOTHERBOARD UMA i7-8550U 16GB) i.e. non Windows OS
HP part #941884-601 (Description - MOTHERBOARD UMA i7-8550U 16GB WIN) i.e. Windows OS
If you have no success searching for motherboards using the laptop's model number, search online for the HP part number only, instead.
The part number should be located somewhere on the motherboard in your laptop, if you wish to verify which one you have now.
Here's the maintenance and service guide, taken from this support webpage for the laptop. Go to p.51 to view the procedure to remove/replace the system board

@dshort1988 change your search parameter to the actual motherboard number. It is commonly printed on the Top side (facing the keyboard) It should be easier to find the proper board, if it is out there, by those numbers.

So it was small print and misread but the motherboard number came off with a plastic cover. I found it though.

If you type in 13-ae013dx there’s a good amount of results for boards on eBay.
