Screen is displaying weird lines and random black sections

Left TV off for a few months while at college and came back to it doing this. Over time as the TV warms up the issue tends to work itself out but not fix entirely. The bottom 5 inches of the screen will only show white when fully warmed up. I've heard that a board can warp with heat and that might be a problem. Any recommendations? It is a Vizio model V505-J01that was bought last year. Vizio support said buy another so I honestly don't mind having to crack it open and fix it myself

Update (12/19/23)

So I disassembled the back and this is what I found. The "long skinny" boards don't seem to be obviously damaged in any way. Everything is still taped down and doesn't seem to be lifting. This silver piece does seem to have a crack in it but I'm not sure of its purpose. It leads from the green board under the yellow one and deeper into the TV

@isaacprice horizontal lines like the one your TV shows are pretty much exclusively caused by a failed panel. Actually, it is the Gated drivers that fail. Tear it down and check the small "long, skinny boards" that connect to your panel. See if you can identify failed components or cold solder joints. It might help if you get a can of freeze spray and once your TV loses the picture, spray the different areas of those boards. See if that narrows it down. There are no schematics etc. for these boards. At this time, not much else you can do. Tear it down, take pictures, freeze the boards and let's see what you can find out.

@isaacprice nothing obvious on those boards, which is a PITA. Try to disconnect one of the driver boards first. Then restart your TV. You will most likely only have half a screen but check to see if the horizontal error has improved. Then do the same with the other board. Always disconnect the power when you remove or reconnect the ribbon cables etc. Let us know what you find out.

One other things you want to try is to change your video input cables . i.e. HDMI, coax etc. See if that changes anything.
