ADG 6560 fills up with water and then drains out without washing

I looked on the internet, but there are usually answers for dishwasher filling up the water, then doing nothing for hour or so and the draining out. But my dishwasher actually experiences different problem - It fills up with water and then in the time it normally started the washing it starts to drain and turns itself off after... Completely skipping the washing cycle.

Nothing seems out of the ordinary, but the behavior is simply weird. I am asking here hoping for someone having experience with this exact type of the problem, since there is answers all over the internet for other types of filling/draining problems, but not exactly mine...

Hi @jiricekales

If the model is a Whirlpool ADG6560IX, here's a link to the service manual that may help. It may still be useful if your model number is not exactly the same.

Go to p.13/18 to view how to run the service tests to hopefully find out what's wrong.

See p.17/18 if no failures are indicated when you first turned it on

Go to p.16/18 to see what the display error code (or flashing LED indicator code - depends on model type) means.

Hello thanks, yes, that's the correct model, I will try to follow the manual as soon as i get a little time and get back with the results. - Did it, shows no results.

@jiricekales

Try pressing the start button for >1.5 seconds to erase the stored error code and then try again.

If still no good or the same result it might be a control board problem.

@jayeff my bad, it needed another restart to test program to show the fault, its NTC failure, makes sense, given the behaviour.

Thanks!
