Safaricom sum card not access this phone

Does the phone work OK with another mobile phone service provider's SIM card inserted?

If it does it may be that the phone is locked to that service provider and won't work when another service provider's SIM card e.g. Safaricom, is inserted.

The phone needs to be unlocked so that it will work with any service provider's SIM card as long as that provider's network is compatible with the phone, which nowadays most are.

Go to the working SIM card's service provider's website and search for how to unlock the phone or call their customer service centre and ask them.
