@henokseife you can't decrease the file size, however, you can clean your storage space and the storage memory. Number one thing to do is to delete all those unused apps. Those are a drain on your memory especially when they are still running in the background. For the how to clean up your space, use the Samsung advice on this page

You can also increase the storage capacity in the phone. The phone supports micro SD cards having a capacity up to a maximum of 512GB.
