Face id and true depth

Is (face id not available) and (a problem has been detected in true depth camera) are same problems or not.

But i am saying that is it the same problem

Like if it is saying face id not available or a problem has been detected to the true depth camera are they same problem.

Basically one precludes the other, the iPhone's software has detected a problem with your front facing camera which in turn would be why Face ID doesn't work.
