The laptop starts but caps lock flashes and overheats laptop.

The laptop starts but the caps lock button keeps repeatedly flashing and the laptop overheats to the point its extremely hot. We know it turns on but the screen stays black and the caps lock begins to flash multiple times and still does not turn on.

What is the full model number of the laptop as shown on the product info label onthe bottom of the laptop?

Can you hear the fan (or feel the air from the exhaust vent) operating when the laptop turns on?

The caps lock button is signalling an error code. The flashes should be in a pattern that is repeated. Count the number of blinks between each longer pause in the blinks and post back here.
