Today i dropped my phone, bottom half of my screen is yellow/black/sometimes display recovers for a short time. I can barely use my fingers on the bottom half to do anything, but the S Pen works perfectly, even where the phone dropped and the screen is cracked. How is that? is the S-Pen display under the touch display ?

Hello Radu,
Your phone has another screen layer known as the digitizer. It essentially keeps track of where the tip of your pen is when you press it on the screen. The software in your phone communicates with the pen and displays what you write or tap on your screen. While it sounds like your top screen is damaged and doesn't respond correctly to touch, your digitizer is still working independently with what's inside your pen.

So that means that the display is broken and needs to be changed, but the pen works nonetheless. Correct?
