Need replacement or fix for disconnected plastic power push button

This is an update to my previous question about replacing the power button with circuit board and cable.

I had to remove the power circuit board to figure out the problem as it stopped turning on and I discovered the actual issue and hope the community can assist me.

The power circuit board is working fine. There is a millimeter sized push button that turns on the machine. The plastic power button that is accessed from the outside of the machine pushes that button. It seems that the plastic power button used to be attached to the frame of the tablet with some sort of flexible spring that allowed the push action. That is my problem as the plastic power button is not attached to the frame and kept moving into the tablet and missing the power circuit button. I got the tablet on by using a precision flathead screwdriver to depress the power circuit board button. I don't think this is a good long term solution.

Can you help me with this?
