Knock sensor code is on and motor is thumping drivers side
Knock sensor says that it's out on the code and the motor is knocking and ticking up front driver side top

@tood it would be so useful if you would give us at least the year and the engine size for your Charger. The code you got from scanning would be great too. Anyhow, if you have a code that reports the knock sensor as failed and your engine is knocking etc, replace the sensor then rescan and re-evaluate.

The problem could be:
- bad sensor
- bad ECM
- bad wiring
- engine mechanical problem that is fooling the knock sensor
It is best to figure out what the actual problem is so you don't waste money on parts you don't need.
