Does the GSM and CDMA Have the same aluminum case?

The back of my Ipad CDMA is dented pretty bad and I wanted to replace it. All I can find for sale are ones that are described as wifi/3G. Their is a slot in the casing for the SIM card which the CDMA doesn't use, but since i would essentially be leaving the SIM receptical out am I able to use a GSB case for a CDMA Ipad.
