Black screen of death randomly after screen replacement

I recently replaced my iPhone 11 screen with an aftermarket soft OLED display. It works for up to days at a time but the screen would randomly go black but the phone is still on. I can usually force restart the phone and it will work again but today simply force restarting didn't work. I had to plug the charger in before I could force restart to get it to work even though the battery was near full. Anyone know what the issue is?
