Presumed LCD Failure After Bringing to Repair Shop- What Can I Do?

I recently brought my laptop to a repair shop. There was damage around the front bezel and back case, and the guy there replaced both. For several days, it then worked perfectly well with nothing wrong.

However, today, the LCD very quickly and immediately died. The screen started glitching out and only 15 minutes later, it went completely back. I can plug in an HDMI cable and get perfectly fine visuals (it's what I'm typing this on) so luckily it does not seem to be a GPU issue.

I already know the repair guy did not properly replace the censor that detects whether or not the laptop is closed, so (while the screen still worked) it didn't shut off when the lid was closed.

What can I do? Video of behavior (before the screen went black) attached. https://imgur.com/a/JP1hEWC

That white strip and the fact that there's no damage to the screen gives me the impression that the LCD cable was not routed properly when the lid was replaced, so it got pinched in the hinge and damaged or unplugged as you opened and closed the laptop.

The lid needs to be disassembled again and the LCD cable connection checked at both ends, and if that doesn't help, the cable must be replaced.

That sounds about right. There have been some changes since my original post- The LCD actually isn't black. Right now, it's actually normal. Particularly, the LCD glitches out when the laptop is moved in any way, which really makes me think it's some sort of connectivity issue. I can already spot a cable near the hinge that seems to be in the wrong place- visible in front of the hinge, instead of not able to be seen at the back. Given the LCD can work properly, hoping it's just something simple.
