Hi Valencia,

Assuming you're letting your phone charge to 100%, the most likely explanation is that your battery has aged and no longer has the ability to hold a full charge. That's something that happens to all batteries and Lithium Ion batteries are no exception. If you got your phone new in 2021 then it could well be ready for replacement; I would normally expect it to last a bit longer, but that's all highly dependent on usage.

Of course you'll want to go in and check your battery usage under Settings to see if there's one particular app that's draining your battery; you can try deleting or updating that app and see if your battery life goes back to normal if you find something.

Otherwise your best bet is probably going to be replacing the battery. On your phone it's a fairly straight-forward job and doesn't require any special skills or equipment outside of a very small screwdriver. Here's the iFixit guide you'll need to do the job.

You can find replacement batteries on most of the major sites; I usually start with Amazon, eBay and AliExpress but there are lots of other places you can get them as well. If you can find a sheet of precut adhesive that's the best choice for resealing the back cover once you're done, and you'll need some kind of adhesive to glue the replacement battery back down as well.

That should get you going; feel free to ask if you have any questions or need any help with the job. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
