How do I fix my keys, I spilt acetone on them?

I spilt some acetone on my keys a few months ago and my computer is working fine no tech difficulties, but it obviously dissolved the glue and it’s really hard to press down on the keys now and 2 of them fell off and more are loose/ wonky and not fitted right now, some of them are fine, the computer wasn’t used very much so it’s not a big deal, but i was messaging with a computer repair shop and i think he’s saying i need a whole new keyboard, but i think the keys just need to be replaced along with the glue, i don’t know how computers work but the man was asking what color my computer is and i don’t think he’s need the colour if it was just the generic keys that he was fixing? or am i dumb and is there no difference between a new keyboard or new keys? please help!! it’s a acer notebook computer, model number N20H2, in pink. thanks very much!!

@kateoboyle generally laptop keyboards are way easier to find, and cheaper, than multiple individual keys.

Laptop keys aren't meant to be replaced individually, the mechanism often breaks when the key is removed and is incredibly finicky to put back on.

It's a lot easier to replace the keyboard, and especially considering your case was a liquid spill, will also resolve any future potential issues with more keys going bad.

He could be asking the colour to make sure he orders the right colour keyboard. Some keyboards are matched to the case colour.

I recommend going ahead with replacing the entire keyboard.
