1 Broke the hinge somehow with the plastic crumbling
Hey guys, just made an account to figure out how to fix this horrendous design. Is this POS design of a headphone fixable? Broke the hinge somehow with the plastic crumbling overtime cause I prolly just bang it on the table after taking it off...
I have a 3d printer if I can avoid buying parts, eternally grateful if anyone has any experience fixing it!
Did that "U" shaped metal piece plus two pieces of plastic fall out when yours broke? It did for me and I asked if that means they aren't repairable or not as the about 22 step very nice photographed instructions seem only for the one piece for the swivel hinge. What happened with your repair. Did you DIY it, or send it into Sony. If Sony or a handyman or you did it how much did it cost? That's amazing you have a 3D printer!
