How to charge on an airplane?
I have a 2019 blade 15 base, and am going on a trip in a few weeks. I'm planning to spend the flight working on some projects in premiere, audition, and after effects, but my battery only lasts a couple hours of heavy use. From what I understand, there is a wall outlet on the plane, but its limited to 75 watts while my power adapter is 200. My laptop also can't through usb-c, and I can't find a 75 watt power adapter for the laptop. Is there another way I can charge my laptop? Thanks!
First, find out what power outlet is available, the type of connection, etc. Restrictions on power is for safety of the entire aircraft, wiring systems distributing power to seat back or arm rests. When you determine which cable adapter is suitable, you can use aircraft power for charging. While power may be restricted, it should allow at least enough power to extend battery life. If not satisfied with this method, ask if a power bank is allowed in the passenger cabin. A large power bank will supplement your battery to extend electronics use. Be aware that virtually all rechargeable batteries are lithium ion types and hazardous. If you choose to buy a power bank, be sure the airline will allow it in the passenger cabin, It too can be recharged, albeit slowly, from aircraft power outlets
