7 plus 3rd barty brightness sensor

Hello everybody,

I recently replaced my 7 plus front camera flex assembly by a 3rd party one from aliexpress (the original one had an issue after replacing battery, where when attached, the haptic, sound, and home button will not work. touch id sensor works though).

After the new 3rd party one, everything works fine except auto brightness.

If I re attach the old one, auto-brightness works but I have all the other issues again.

My question, is it a defective light sensor in the new flex? Or is it something else?

I'm going to lean toward the part itself, as I've replaced a couple of them on 7 plusses and one on a 7 and haven't had an issue with the auto brightness. Here's the last one I got for the 7 plus.

New Proximity Sensor Light Motion Flex with Front Facing Camera iPhone 7 Plus + 721249108448

They're cheap enough I'd just get a new one and not worry about the one that doesn't seem to work.
