Does replacing the Charging Port Assembly require any SOLDERING

Assuming you're talking about the complete charging port assembly - the same one that's advertised here on iFixit - then no, you do not need to do any soldering to replace it.

After going through the Daughterboard Replacement guide, here are the tools you need.

• Heat source: heating pad / iOpener / heat gun / blow dryer
• Opening pick(s) / plastic card
• Suction cup
• Phillips #000 screwdriver
• Spudger

It appears that iFixit is out of stock on those daughterboards, but you shouldn't have any trouble finding a replacement on places like Amazon, eBay or AliExpress. Here's an example.
