Won't turn on or charge.
My laptop won't turn on or charge. No indicator light. Checked the cable and used another known working cable and still nothing. Does anyone know what the issue is?

Sounds like a shot battery to me. Batteries can loose their effectiveness after a while. Alternatively, your battery cable might just be unplugged, though if you didn't get the laptop like this, it's probably not the case.

I'd like to add another possibility for anyone else! It could also be a bad charging port.

I had similar problem once. The resolution was to unplug the adapter AND unplug the battery, the push the power button for a minute. then plug in everything (and screw back the few dozen screws) and try to start the laptop
