8 months ago, I accidentally dropped my tablet and shattered the screen, and since I had pretty important files in there that I didn't backup, I want to try and attempt to replace the screen to get back into my tablet and save my files.
I haven't charged the tablet since then and I wonder if that's going to effect the battery capacity or its performance, it was running great before I dropped it.

In terms of the battery, at the very worst it may be too low to charge back up again, but there shouldn't be any major performance degredation if it does charge back up.
In terms of displays, your best bet is likely aliexpress, there's several sellers who appear to have displays for this model, but of course you should be very thorough when looking through reviews and everything before you order
