Laptop doesn’t show any signs of life

my Acer Aspire E5-573G doesn’t show any signs of life when I try to power it even with a charger plugged in. The SMD-LEDs located on the edge aren’t indicating that power is being supplied. I’ve already opened the device with my trusty iFixit-Kit to measure the voltage across the power-connector pins but that all seems to be fine (19V). The battery also was at the normal voltage at full charge. I’ve also tried removing it but this doesn’t help at all. Some voltages for certain components also seem to be correct. It don’t see any blown up SMDs or other issues.

I really hope that someone will be able to troubleshoot this problem further.

Fortunately, I was able to fix the problem myself.

I went through the following steps: As I already had removed the battery pack, I removed the charger as well and finally removed the BIOS-battery. Then I shorted the pins of the bios battery (+/-) for a few seconds with some tweezers. Afterwards I reinstalled the main battery pack and connected it up. Finally, I was able to power the notebook back on.
