Can I replace just the rear camera lens without removing back panel?
My rear facing camera lens is cracked. Is it possible to replace the lens without having to remove the whole rear panel?

If you use a craft knife to pick out the old lens then yes it's possible. Use a hair dryer to heat it up to soften the adhesive. Be careful as you don't want to damage the camera.

Would I be picking out the whole lens, i.e. the piece with the metal ring surrounding it? Or just the glass piece inside the metal ring?
@j0ck just the glass inside the ring. If you Google xperia xz1 rear camera glass you'll see what it looks like.
